Hi @maketvee,
that is an awesome idea! And the FPC is such a cool way of handling it. Cheap FlatFlex ftw ![]()
Just in case you’re interested and don’t know already anway, the MYNDberry also has headers specificall for these kind of tiny ESP32/NRF/etc. modules:
You can easily jumper the pins to the I2S output of Raspi
(Though not half as cool as covertly sniffing
)
Thank you! I have seen the board, but wasn’t aware of this extra header port, that’s really cool!
It was a case of, “What else could be fun to put on there…” without having any idea what actually to use it for… but you just showed the perfect usecase!
There’s also an always on ultra low current 3.3ldo that could power for example a nRF ble module which would then be able to wakeup MYND from power off without causing tons of standby current.
I have some future options on the PCB too:
Another version, this time a foldable LED “antenna” with a high-density LED stick (500LED/m) which I made some time ago. Works well in both positions.
I’ll be at Maker Faire Hannover (15./16. August) showing MYNDlights at booth 65 (LED makers united).
